Refunds and cancellation

Effective from October 11, 2026

Right of withdrawal

To cancel a purchase or exercise a legal right of cancellation or withdrawal, complete this form. You do not need to sign in or explain your reason when the law grants that right. We provide a case number when you submit it. You can also email hello@byebouncer.com with the subject “Purchase withdrawal”. You can also request a refund directly fromPaddle, the seller that processed the payment.

1. Statutory rights

You retain all refund, cancellation and withdrawal rights provided by the law applicable to your purchase. This policy does not limit them. Time limits and conditions may vary by country and according to whether you purchased as a consumer or a business. For example, consumers in Argentina may exercise their right of withdrawal within the statutory period of 10 calendar days; in the European Union, the statutory period of 14 days applies where relevant. Paddle handles these requests according to itsrefund rules and applicable law.

Using credits does not in itself automatically waive a right of withdrawal. Any statutory exception for digital content or services applies only when its requirements have been met. For duplicate charges, billing errors or failure to provide the service, contact us even if the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Discretionary requests

When there is no statutory right to a refund, you may request one within 14 days of purchase. We will review the case, usage history and available credits. We may offer a full or partial refund through Paddle; review does not guarantee approval. Free credits have no refundable purchase value.

The credit balance is shared across purchases. We therefore do not automatically attribute each check to a specific pack or promise a prorating formula. Before offering a discretionary partial refund, we will inform you in writing of the amount and credits to be removed. If the law requires a different amount, the law prevails.

3. Third-party fees and charges

Refund amount. The amount depends on the applicable right or, for a discretionary request, the offer approved by Paddle and accepted by you. There is no general limit based on what ByeBouncer received after fees or deductions.

Refunds required by law. When applicable law requires a full refund of the price paid, that full refund takes precedence: we will not deduct Paddle fees or our operating costs, even if this results in a loss for ByeBouncer. This clause does not limit consumer rights guaranteed by mandatory law.

Discretionary refunds. When there is no legal refund obligation and we agree to a goodwill refund, the amount may be calculated as the price paid less fees and expenses actually charged by Paddle or another provider for the saleor the refundthat are not returned to us, provided applicable law and Paddle’s rules allow it. We will send a written breakdown of the final amount and credits to be removed before asking for your agreement. If an additional fee arises after the offer, we will ask for your agreement again before reducing the amount. If you do not agree, the discretionary refund is not processed and you retain the credits.

Charges outside checkout. Unless applicable law or Paddle’s rules require otherwise, ByeBouncer does not reimburse:

  • Fees charged directly to you by your bank, card issuer, wallet, processor or remittance provider for currency conversion, international transactions, receiving funds, local taxes, withholdings or other services outside the price shown at checkout.
  • Exchange rate differences between the purchase and refund dates. Paddle credits the refund in the original transaction currency; any exchange rate variation is borne by the payment method holder.
  • Fees charged directly to you by a payment provider for receiving a refund that are not part of the price charged by Paddle.

Any exception required by mandatory rules, such as consumer rights or local user protection laws, takes priority over this section.

4. Chargebacks and card disputes

If you have a problem with a purchase, you may contact us, Paddle or your payment provider. You are not required to contact us before exercising a dispute or chargeback right. Paddle and ByeBouncer may provide relevant purchase and usage records for review, subject to applicable law.

During a substantiated dispute, we may temporarily restrict access related to that transaction to prevent misuse. Resolution and credit adjustments will depend on Paddle’s confirmed decision and the buyer’s applicable rights.

5. Processing

  • Paddle issues approved refunds to the original payment method where possible.
  • Approval and crediting times depend on Paddle and the payment provider; we do not promise a fixed crediting period.
  • Credits associated with the refunded amount are adjusted in ByeBouncer when we receive Paddle’s confirmation.
  • If you have a payment dispute, you may contact Paddle, us or your issuer. This policy does not restrict your right to make a claim or dispute a charge.
