Terms and conditions

Effective from November 7, 2026

1. Operator and scope

ByeBouncer is an email, IP address and phone verification service operated by PARABACUTO GUERRERO FIDEL DILLINGER, CUIT 20-19147887-9, located at GUEMES 3221, PALERMO, CIUDAD AUTONOMA DE BUENOS AIRES, postal code 1425, ARGENTINA. You can contact us at hello@byebouncer.com. The service is available at byebouncer.com and api.byebouncer.com.

Packs are sold and charged through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and issues the buyer’s receipt. The selling Paddle entity may vary according to the buyer’s location. Paddle’s purchase and payment terms are also shown at checkout. ByeBouncer provides the service and manages credits added after purchase.

2. Acceptance and accounts

By creating an account and using ByeBouncer, you accept these terms and the refund policy. The privacy policy explains how we process data. You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to contract. If acting for a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

You are responsible for protecting your password and API keys, revoking compromised keys in the dashboard and notifying us of unauthorized access. Do not share keys between independent organizations without a specific agreement.

3. What the service provides

ByeBouncer checks contact data and returns information for each requested field. Email validation checks format, DNS and, where possible, the SMTP response without sending a message to the recipient. Server acceptance does not guarantee delivery, inbox placement or reading. A catch-all domain, full mailbox or inconclusive check can prevent confirmation of deliverability.

Phone validation separates format, numbering country, line type and information reported by the provider, such as carrier. Valid format, an identified carrier or a provider response do not establish identity, ownership, control of the number or that someone will answer. We do not verify WhatsApp accounts. Missing carrier information does not, by itself, establish that a number is invalid.

If you request the additional line status option, we query a mobile network provider. The result indicates the state observed at the time shown in the response; it may be cached and does not necessarily represent the state at this instant. “Absent” may mean that the device is off or out of coverage, and “connected” does not imply that someone will answer. Coverage varies by country and carrier. This lookup does not call or send messages.

The current validation format reports independent checks; it does not determine whether a person or submission is authentic, fraudulent or bot-generated, or recommend accepting or rejecting the contact. Legacy responses may retain scores and recommendations for compatibility; they are not fraud probabilities. You are responsible for how you use each result and must not use it as the sole basis for denying employment, credit, housing or another significant right.

IP analysis reports scope, network information and results from the sources queried. Country may refer to network registration or estimated geolocation, not an individual’s location. Sharing an IP, using VoIP or appearing on a reputation list does not establish fraud. Checks that were not requested, are inapplicable or are unavailable are distinguished from negative findings; an undetermined result does not mean the data is invalid.

4. Credits and prices

Each billable check consumes credits, including when the result comes from our cache. The price table on the website and dashboard shows the current cost before each type of check runs: email, 1 credit; public IP, 1; phone with local validation, 1; phone with an enriched carrier result, 3; and a billable line-status lookup, 6 additional credits when requested. A lead consumes the sum of the billable channels that run. Cache hits do not receive a discount.

We do not charge for private or non-routable IPs, invalid-format numbers or numbers on your blocklist, or phone checks without a billable provider response. Mobile network checks are not charged for landlines or VoIP, invalid results or service failures. The states “connected”, “absent” and “unknown” can be billable: “unknown” describes a network response and is not the same as an unavailable provider. An undetermined email result can be billable when the check ran; our own SMTP domain limit is reported as an unverified check and is not charged.

Publicly available bulk jobs verify email addresses. They reserve credits when starting and automatically return credits for unprocessed inputs on completion or cancellation. Packs XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL are prepaid in USD; Paddle displays the final price and applicable taxes before payment. Credits purchased under this version of the terms do not expire through the passage of time and cannot be transferred between accounts. Any maximum validity period for future purchases will apply only if clearly disclosed before checkout; it will never be imposed retroactively. Welcome credits are granted once per user, have no cash value and are non-refundable.

An unfavorable finding does not make an executed check free. A retry you request is a new check and may use credits according to the service; an additional mobile network lookup has its own cost. Before confirming a check or retry, review the selected service and the cost shown in the dashboard or API documentation.

5. Refunds and payment disputes

The refund policy explains how to request a refund, including statutory withdrawal rights and discretionary requests. Paddle, as seller of record, processes approved refunds. No Paddle fee limits a full refund required by law. In a discretionary offer, any permitted deduction is disclosed and itemized before requesting your acceptance. Credits from different purchases share one balance; we do not automatically attribute each check to a pack.

You may discuss a dispute with us, Paddle or your payment provider. You are not required to contact us before exercising a right to dispute a charge. During a substantiated dispute, we may temporarily restrict access related to that transaction to prevent misuse, respecting applicable rights. Credit adjustments follow Paddle’s confirmed decision and the purchase history.

6. Permitted use

You may not use ByeBouncer to:

  • Verify data obtained through breaches, unauthorized access or unlawful sources.
  • Create spam lists or make unsolicited calls or send unsolicited SMS or messages in violation of the law.
  • Track, harass, monitor or identify people without a legitimate basis.
  • Attack networks, bypass technical limits or interfere with the service.
  • Resell API output as a competing service without a written agreement.
  • Use the service in violation of applicable sanctions or export controls.
  • Use phone checks to facilitate pornography or adult entertainment, impersonation, phishing, fraud or abusive communications.

If you integrate ByeBouncer for your organization or third parties, you must ensure that users of the checks follow these rules. Number enumeration, enrichment, bulk extraction or data redistribution without a lawful purpose and the necessary rights are not permitted. Validation grants no ownership of provider databases or license to reconstruct or commercialize them.

Results are made available only for the contracted validation purpose and within the rights available for each source, data field and territory. They do not authorize creating an independent database, reselling source data or reusing it for another purpose without the necessary rights. An agreement with ByeBouncer does not itself expand a source’s permissions. Any use, integration or redistribution requiring additional permissions must be confirmed in writing before it is enabled. We may limit affected checks or fields because of legal, contractual or security restrictions, with notice where possible and preserving your rights regarding your balance and applicable refunds.

We may request information reasonably needed to demonstrate the purpose and usage rights, and limit or suspend affected checks in cases of serious breach, fraud or risk to others, with notice where reasonably possible. You must not bypass restrictions by changing accounts, keys or integrations. If removal is required for data obtained without authorization or whose use is no longer permitted, you must stop using and delete it, except where retention is required by law. These measures do not remove applicable refund rights.

7. Data you submit

You must have a lawful basis and the necessary rights to request each check, send data to ByeBouncer and the necessary providers, receive results and use them for the disclosed purpose. This includes providing notices and obtaining any consents or authorizations required in each case, and being able to demonstrate that basis where required. Do not send sensitive data or additional information the service does not need. Providers, processed data and retention periods are described in the privacy policy. If your organization requires a specific data processing agreement, contact us before submitting personal data subject to that requirement.

Validation is not permission to contact a person by email, call, SMS, WhatsApp or another channel. You must separately comply with applicable marketing rules, recipient preferences, opt-outs and do-not-contact registers. If the applicable rules require a data processing agreement, it must be put in place before sending that data; accepting these terms does not replace an agreement requiring specific provisions.

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to measure visits and website interactions, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure performance. The analytics and cookie information explains the data processed, the provider and available tools to limit measurement. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to analytics cookies or replace prior consent where applicable law requires it.

8. Availability and results

We aim to keep the service available and publish its status at byebouncer.com/status, but do not offer an SLA or guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance. Third-party signals, such as carrier, mobile network or DNS lists, may fail, vary or become outdated. Results are information to support your evaluation, without a guarantee of absolute accuracy.

9. Liability

For business users, to the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a service-related claim is limited to the amount paid for ByeBouncer through Paddle in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits to the extent permitted by law. These limits do not restrict non-waivable consumer rights or liability that the law prohibits limiting.

10. Changes and trial features

We may change features, limits and future prices. We will communicate material commercial changes by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days in advance where possible. New prices apply only to future checks, never to checks already performed. Urgent changes due to security, law or providers may require shorter notice; we will explain their scope as soon as possible. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the service and request that your balance be handled according to therefund policy and the law.

A feature marked as beta or trial may change or be withdrawn. If it consumes credits, we will show its cost before it runs.

11. Account closure

You may request account closure at hello@byebouncer.com. We will inform you of your available balance before completing it. Credits purchased under this version do not expire due to inactivity. Closure does not remove legal retention obligations or refund rights; we will apply the periods in theprivacy policy and the refund policy.

12. Governing law and claims

These terms are governed by Argentine law to the extent permitted. This does not remove consumers’ mandatory protections or access to the courts and authorities available where they live. For business-to-business claims, where permitted by law, the courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires have jurisdiction. You may email us at hello@byebouncer.com.
